New Nintendo 3DS announced for Japan
Two new handhelds were announced yesterday by Nintendo, called the new Nintendo 3DS and the new Nintendo 3DS LL (that’s what the XL is called in Japan). The smaller 3DS features an LL-inspired design with more rounded corners and features a larger 3.88 inch top display with a gyro and front camera for a wider 3D viewing angle, along with a new analog stick (nub, actually) next to the ABXY buttons. It also comes with a faster CPU, more RAM and a similar price. The larger LL features the same screen but the same improvements across the board, the newer CPU and more RAM along with the nub. It’s only been announced for Japan so far and some games will be exclusive to these new models, like the newly announced port of Xenoblade Chronicles. Both NoA and NoE have not announced availability in either region, though it comes out in Japan on October 11 for $154 and $180 respectively,
