Shigeru Miyamoto to Skip Attending Japan Expo in Paris

Legendary video game creator Shigeru Miyamoto was due to attend the Japan Expo in Paris to host a master class in honor of the expo’s 15th anniversary, however Nintendo France has tweeted the following earlier today: “Nous avons le regret d’annoncer que Mr Miyamoto ne sera pas présent à Japan Expo pour des raisons personnelles liées à la santé de son père.”

It roughly translates that Miyamoto will not attend the show due to personal reasons related to the health of his father. So if you were hoping to catch a glimpse of him at the expo next month, you’re out of luck. Let’s wish Mr. Miyamoto’s father a quick recovery.
